Spellcrafting:

Spellcrafting(SC) makes it possible to imbue crafted armor or weapons with gems giving the armor magical attributes. It is possible to imbue armor or weapons with Resists, Skills, Stats, Hitpoints, Power and Focus. There is a cap of how much a character can be enhanced by magical armor. Strive to cap Skills, Stats and Resists in a template. The least important resists are Spirit and Matter, so take one of those under cap if necessary.

Decide which artifacts and ToA bonuses are important for your toon before making the SC template. A program called a spellcraft calculator is used to make or design SC templates. After the template has been created in the SC calculator it is possible to extract the important information so an ingame spellcrafter can imbue the armor with the template. This is currently the best SC calculator: http://sc.aod.net. It is a good idea to check some forums for input to what items should be a in a template. Use the VNBoards Camelot Class Boards for this: http://vnboards.ign.com/. Making a good template is very difficult, so get some help making it if necessary.

Legendary weapons:

Legendary weapons make elemental damage, and they all have a 30% debuff proc to the damage type they are using. Use the Armor resist table to see what type of weapon that will suit your needs the most. Eg. If you fight assassins(leather) a lot use the Heat legendary weapon. Weapons summoned by the Belt of Sun artifact makes energy damage, and they have an energy debuff proc.

Armor resists:

The melee resists might all be 9 to high so +9 is actually neutral. I still need to get the table below confirmed from a second source.

Table show damage modifier in % of a neutral hit.
